It's Labor Day, and folks all over are probably wishing summer would not end. So here's my take on that time-honored tradition. I'm dragging out more pics from our trip this July. This was taken while roaming the grounds surrounding Old Faithful, Yellowstone National Park. I loved this thermal pool for its depth, color, and interesting interior "walls." Wanted to dive in, but you know that would be a very, very bad idea!

Wow! Remarkable photo -- I love the depth perspective more than anything else.
When I drove through Yellowstone (from Brooklyn to Seattle) I heard a horrible story there about some intern rangers who were walking around at night and one of them jumped into a thermal pool. Heavy degree burns :( Sorry for the downer but you reminded me of it :) Very pretty though.
